The Royal Nova Scotia Historical Society will hold its annual dinner meeting on Wednesday, 20 April 2011, at 6:00 pm at the Dalhousie University Club. Anne Marie Jonah will present a talk entitiled Small Pleasures: Gifts and Trade in Personal Correspondence between France and Louisbourg."

On Tuesday, 5 April 2011, Dr. Dr. David Creelman, Department of English, UNBSJ, will present the sixth and final paper of the 2011 Atlantic Canada Seminar Series, titled "The Other Half: Prose Fiction in the Fiddlehead."
The talk will take place on the UNB campus in Tilley Hall, Room 028, from 7-8:30 PM. Refreshments will be served.
The Newfoundland Historical Society will be holding its free Annual George Story Lecture on Thursday, 31 March 2011 at 8:00 pm at Hampton Hall, Marine Institute on Ridge Road.
This months’ lecturer will be Gerald Pocius, who will be speaking about “Newfoundland’s Material Culture and the Rise of Heritage.” Refreshments to follow.

The annual Labour History Workshop of the Canadian Commitee on Labour History will be hosted by the Labour History in New Brunswick project and focuses this year on New Brunswick. The event will be at a downtown venue in Fredericton on Sunday, 29 May, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
