The McQueen Family Learning Resources section of the Atlantic Canada Virtual Archives provides k-12 educators and students with interesting and interactive ways to discover what life was like in late-nineteenth century Canada, as settlers traveled by train across the continent on their way to opportunities in the west. Students can learn about the McQueen sisters by reading a selection of their letters, while teachers can use the ready-made lesson plan to structure their class.
