Know all Men by these presents that I
Hannah Winslow of Halifax in the \Fredericton in the County of York/ province
of Nova Scotia Widow of Edward Winslow late
of Plimouth in the \County of Plimouth &/ State of Massachusetts Esquire
deceased have made ordained and appointed and
by these presents do make ordain and appoint
William {unclear: Lewis} the younger \ John Davis / of Plimouth aforesaid
Gentleman my true and lawful Attorney, for
me and in my name and behalf to grant bargain
sell and convey all and every those funeral Lots
or parcels of Land situate and lying within the
Townships of Plimouth, Plimpton and Pembroke
or elsewhere in the County of Plimouth aforesaid
and State of Massachusetts, which Lands I
hold and am entitled to in common and undivided
with my Sister Joanna White now of Plimouth
aforesaid Widow, as Coheiresses and Daughters
of

of Thomas Howland late of said Plimouth Gentleman
deceased, And also all the Estate, Right, Title
Interest, Claim and Demand whatsoever of me the
said Hannah Winslow of in and to the said funeral
Lots and Parcels of Land, and every part and parcel
thereof to any Person or Persons who may or shall
appear to purchase the same or any part thereof, and for
such price or prices \and upon such terms as the other Persons interested in the same lands/ and my said Attorney may judge |best|
| & | adequate to the true and real value thereof — And also
for me and in my name place and stead and as my
own and proper act and deed to make seal and deliver
|and acknowledge| such deed and deeds of conveyance or other Assurance
of the premises and every part thereof unto the purchaser
or purchasers thereof his and their Heirs and Assigns
as shall be needful and requisite to transfer convey
and secure the same and every part thereof to the purchaser
or purchasers to the only {unclear: life} and behalf of him and them
his and their heirs and assigns forward \with full power & authority one or more Attornies under him for the purposes aforesaid to make & inquire at pleasure to you by/ — I the said
Hannah Winslow hereby giving and granting unto
my

my said Attorney \& his substitute/ my full power and authority
in the premisses to act and do therein for my benefit
as fully to all intents and purposes as I myself
{illegible word} might or could do if personally present; and
also ratifying allowing and confirming all and
whatsoever my said Attorney shall \or his Substitutes shall lawfully/ do or cause to
be done by force hereof — In Witness whereof
I have hereto set my hand and seal at Halifax
the sixth day of July in the year of our Lord
one thousand seven hundred and eighty four.

Halifax {unclear: } July the 10, 1784 Then personally
appeared before me the Subscriber one of his Majestys
Justices of the peace for the County of Halifax, the above
named Hannah Winslow and acknowledged the above
written Letter of Attorney by her executed to be her free
Act and Deed —

Memo. Some of the heirs of B. {unclear: Lethrop} of Kingston deceased
have applied to me to join with them in appointing some persons
to look up and make sale of the out Lands in Plymo. Plimton,
&c in which they say they are interested with Mrs. Winslow &c
But {unclear: &c } within power not being assigned or assignable I had no
authority to act on subject. If a good title could be {unclear: proven} by
the Land could probably sell from 3£ to 6£ pr Acre. It would
be well for Mrs. W. to empower some person to join with the other
person interested to convey sd Lands upon such terms as they shall
think expedient —
