Produced by Graham Reynolds and Richard MacKinnon at the University College of Cape Breton in partnership with Ken MacDonald and Folkus Atlantic Productions in Sydney, Nova Scotia, this website is geared toward high-school students and teachers and incorporates much of the work of The Peopling of Atlantic Canada CD ROM and The Peopling of Canada web-based activity and resource center to provide a culturally inclusive approach to the teaching and learning of Canadian history.

This website, developed by Claude Bélanger, features an informative, if dated, history of Newfoundland, a number of biographies of prominant Newfoundlanders, and a useful bibliography of sources on the Beothuk.
