Canadian War Brides of World War II

Canadian War Brides is devoted to the European women, mostly British, who married Canadian soldiers and immigrated to Canada following World War II. In addition to being a storehouse of information on war brides, the site offers Melynda Jarratt's thesis, The War Brides of New Brunswick, for download. For those interested in further discussing War Brides or in researching their family history, Debbie Beavis maintains a War Brides Listserv.

Labour History in New Brunswick

Devoted to ensuring that the history of work in New Brunswick is not forgotten, this project is the joint effort of researchers at the University of New Brunswick and the Université de Moncton, working in partnership with labour organizations and heritage institutions. There are five areas of focus: provincial solidarities, work in Acadia, contested territory, women's work and labour landmarks.
