Nova Scotia

Launched in 2007 as The Nova Scotia Policy Review, this independent quarterly magazine has gained the respect of policy makers, community advocates and concerned citizens. Its independent reporting has been cited as evidence in the provincial legislature and by municipalities and community groups that have found in its pages sound arguments to support sustainable social development.

The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic website provides descriptions of its temporary and permanent exhibitions, some of which include infosheets such as "The Halifax Explosion" and "The Museum's Guide to Sailing Ship Rigs."

The Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic features exhibits of sea vessels, sea monsters, and scallop shucking. There is also an aquarium.

The website of the Bluenose II includes cruising schedule, captain's log, and information on the Bluenose II and her history.

This website gives details on the educational outreach projects provided by 27 different Nova Scotian museums.
